Winter Happenings

• THANKSGIVING is not really celebrated in Mexico.  Here on the border it is more common because of the close proximity to the States.  I55 hosted a dinner in the Clow's home. Over 30 people!  It was a mixture of Americans and Mexicans.  It was a mixture of rich, middle class, and poor.  It was a mixture of bosses and employees.  But most of all, it was a mixture of God's children giving thanks for the years blessing.  Not all that participated  are believers.  Please pray for us as we continue to build relationships and share the love of Christ with them.

• On Friday, the 14th of December, the teachers and students hosted a Christmas Program for the parents.  The school was PACKED OUT!  With the way Instituto Isaias is growing, we will have to rent a room next year in order to accommodate everyone.  Either that or the work teams will build a big auditorium???  Maybe one day!  Right now we just need to focus and getting their 2nd story classrooms finished.  Which by the way are coming along great.  Our Mexican employees, Nono, and John have been working hard at getting it finished.

• On December 31st, Bibb Beale and Amy Cortese were married!  Words cannot describe how precious the ceremony was.  The presence of the Lord engulfed the sanctuary as these two beautiful individuals were joined as one. Congratulations Bibb and Amy!!!

January 1st, 2008 -- Isaiah 55 had a birthday.  We are now 3 years old!  We are still a toddler toddling around the city, but we are growing.  We still continue to search for land for a dorm facility and land for more schools.  Praise to our Father that He is watching over us, guiding us, and teaching us.  What a wonderful father He is.  Please pray that we will have wisdom and discernment in the process of finding and purchasing land.
